Roblox Audio API

Everything in Roblox's instance-based audio system: what each object does, how they wire together, and the rules that decide where sound actually plays.

Roblox has two audio systems. The legacy one is Sound, SoundGroup and SoundEffect. The current one, which Roblox calls audio objects (or the Audio API), builds sound from small instances joined by Wires, like patching a mixing desk. Roblox now discourages the legacy objects for new work. The MOTOTRBO R7 radio is built entirely on the new system.
