Operating modes¶
The set has three positions, selected by setting one of three values true in CAT_Gen > Values. They behave like a real three-position switch: selecting one deselects the others.
| Mode | Set this | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| STOP | Stoped = true |
Shuts down, and clears a latched fault |
| AUTO | Auto = true |
Waits for a start signal, then runs on its own |
| MANUAL | Running = true |
Starts now and keeps running |
Stoped is spelled that way in the model
Use the value name exactly as written, or nothing will happen.
The one you want for an ATS or any automatic system.
The set sits idle until Remote Start goes true, runs for as long as it stays true, and shuts down after a cooldown when it goes false.
Starts immediately and ignores the remote signal. Use it for testing, or for a set you want running regardless.
STOP is also the reset. A protective shutdown latches, and setting Stoped = true is the only way to clear it, the same as pressing reset on a real panel.
These three values are outputs as well. Read them to see which position is selected.
