Messaging, tickets and calls¶
Compose from Messages, or Contacts → a radio → Send Message.
- Group texts go to everyone on a channel.
- Direct texts go to a radio ID.
Messages pass through Roblox's text filter. The sender is told when nobody received it ("No Radio Received It") rather than left guessing. Quick texts from Config.Handset.QuickTexts are game text and are not filtered.
Press T, type a line, press Enter. The radio holds the channel and speaks it aloud through text to speech, and it appears as a caption.
This is how someone who cannot use a microphone still gets a call out.
Send a status from Config.Handset.StatusList to another radio. Received statuses collect in the status inbox.
A page to another radio. It alerts until answered.
Contacts → a radio → Private Call.
The other radio rings and shows Accept / Decline. OK or simply keying up answers; Back declines. Both radios move to a private bus of their own, and nobody else on the channel hears them.
The call ends with Back on the home screen, hang-time silence, a channel change, power off, leaving, or an emergency. No answer inside RingSeconds is a missed call. A radio already in a call reports "Radio Busy".
Log In first. Tickets are created from templates in Config.Handset.JobTickets and sent to a role, an alias, a radio ID or everyone.
Each ticket moves through New → Started → Completed. Scripts can raise and update them through the API.
The last five calls received, replayed. Roblox cannot record voice, so a recording plays back as its transcript, read aloud.
Every radio shares Config.Handset.PrivacyKey, so privacy calls are clear to your own fleet. A player with a different RadioPrivacyKey attribute hears it garbled and sees "[Privacy]" captions.
