Troubleshooting

Model disappears on Play

Cause: the game is not licensed.

Fix: check your licence covers this place.

“License check could not be completed”

Cause: HTTP requests are off.

Fix: Game Settings → Security → Allow HTTP Requests.

Screen blank, nothing happens

Cause: Control was moved away from Values.

Fix: put it back in the same folder. See Installation.

Nothing happens when you set Remote Start

Cause: the set is not in AUTO.

Fix: set Auto = true. See Operating modes.

Set cranks three times then gives up

Cause: out of fuel, or a flat battery.

Fix: check Fuel. If InfiniteFuel is off, refill.

Will not restart after a fault

Cause: a shutdown is latched.

Fix: set Stoped = true. The Output says if it is refused.

Reset refused

Cause: the condition is still present.

Fix: release the e-stop, let it cool, or refill.

Can hear nothing

Cause: sound fades out past 20 studs.

Fix: walk closer, or raise ROLLOFF_STUDS. See Sound.

No smoke

Cause: wrong stack part, or disabled.

Fix: check Config.Exhaust.Part. See Exhaust.

ATS says GEN FAIL TO START

Cause: the set is in STOP.

Fix: set Auto = true. See Working with the ATS.

ATS cannot find it

Cause: renamed, or not in Workspace.

Fix: keep it named CAT_Gen in Workspace.

Read the Output window

The set prints a line when it starts up, when the licence check passes or fails, and whenever a reset is refused and why. Most of the problems above resolve in one look there.
